Priyanka Chopra Jonas' Restaurant, Sona Receives Praises And Shout-Out From Kal Penn For The 'Delicious' Indian Food
Well, it seems we have yet another fan of the Indian restaurant based in New York, Priyanka Chopra Jonas', Sona.
Priyanka Chopra Jonas' New York restaurant, Sona is one of the hotspots for Hollywood celebrities to enjoy Indian cuisine. The restaurant has been praised by many celebrities and it recently saw the visit of actor Kal Penn, who shared his experience on Instagram and he called the food 'delicious'.
Taking to Instagram stories, Kal shared a picture of four dishes and lauded Priyanka and Sona's co-owner, Maneesh K Goyal. The picture featured what looked like some mouthwatering 'chaat' items. He wrote, “Finally made it to @SonaNewYork so delicious.” He also said, “Well done @ManeeshKGoyal @PriyankaChopra.”
Later, Priyanka also shared Kal's story on Instagram, with a folded hands emoticon.
Priyanka Chopra's New York restaurant has of late been receiving rave reviews for its Indian food. Nick Jonas recently shared a photo from the restaurant as he enjoyed a hearty meal that consisted of some famous Indian dishes including the likes of Butter Chicken, Goan Fish Curry and more.
A few months ago actor Anupam Kher also went to Sona and posed for photos with the staff. Anupam also praised Priyanka while sharing these pictures on social media.
His caption read: “Dearest @priyankachopra !! It was really a pleasure to have dinner at your wonderful restaurant @sonanewyork. Everything was great. Priyanka had taken everyone by surprise as she announced Sona’s launch in 2019. She posted images from the prayer ceremony (pooja) held to mark the beginning of the construction of her Indian cuisine restaurant in New York, where Nick was also present.
